Solar Panels Kelowna takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
When you call us, email us or send a form, we collect what you give us. That usually means your name, phone number, email, property address or town, property type, electricity utility, approximate monthly bill and any notes you add.
When you browse the site, standard technical data such as IP address, browser, pages visited and referring page may be recorded in server logs and analytics.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, arrange a site assessment, carry out work you hire us for, and meet our legal obligations. We may contact you about your enquiry by phone, email or text.
Who we share it with
We share information with our contractor partners when they help assess or complete your project, and with service providers who help run the business (website hosting, email delivery, phone handling and analytics). They may only use it for that purpose.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it where the law requires.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements. After that it is securely deleted or anonymised.
How we protect it
We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards for the type of information involved. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The site may use cookies for basic functions, spam protection and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although some features may then stop working properly.
