Our commitment

We want this site to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.

What we have done

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including:

• Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure on every page
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and text descriptions on charts
• Colour contrast at or above AA ratios for text and controls, including our yellow and black buttons
• Full keyboard access with a visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link
• Form fields with visible labels
• A layout that works at 200% zoom and on small screens
• No flashing or auto-playing content

Known limitations

Accessibility work never stops. Some third-party components, such as the spam-protection widget on our forms, may not fully meet our target. When we find a gap, we fix it.
